Jim, a New Hampshire native and UNH graduate. started his career as a sheep shearer, working around the world, shearing over ¼ of a million sheep, Jim competed in both national and international contests. During those years, Jim was able to be part of large feedlot operations, stations, and ranch operations, as well as small New England farms.
He can be shaping out a new maple table, building a pole barn or flying a cupola. He is comfortable with wood, steel, and sitework.
Jim and his wife Lisa still maintain a small farm in New Hampshire that has included livestock, greenhouses. Field tested in agriculture and livestock he has used his knowledge construction barns throughout the Northeast.
Retired now you can still find him helping around the store or on the back forty enjoying the farm and woodshop.
Jake, owner and general manager of Ag Structures, has a lifetime of being involved in building. he has a BS from UNH and come into the company with a young driving force elevating Ag Structures into fine home building around New Hampshire's lakes region. He is an active member in NH Home Builders Association with the Lakes Region. Check out his building projects today!
Foreman, Jason DeCota, a UNH graduate, rose to full time field supervisor early in his career. He is a master builder, of all types of structures, including dairy processing plants, organic dairy facilities, retail farm stores, horse stables and arenas, and fine homes. His understanding of site work, layout, design and building construction along with expertise in fine finish leave each customer in competent hands.
Katie has been around agriculture her entire life. A UNH graduate she adds a woman's touch to both of the businesses. Need a new sporting rifle? Noone can match her expertise.
